What's some good advice you've given to a friend, but not followed yourself?
Submitted by robbbiedobbbie.
To chill out about their boyfriends/crushes/husbands/fiances. Wow I never follow that advice. I can dispense dude advice up the wazoo but I can't follow anything I say.
To exercise because it makes you feel better physically and emotionally. I only occasionally work out.
I'm sure there are a ton more. I basically never follow advice I toss out.
What are your resolutions for 2007?
1. Lose the weight I gained when I moved here. This is more of a first quarter resolution. I've done it before, I can do it again.
2. Run on a regular schedule. This may not start until the weather gets warmer.
3. Not drink as much. Meaning, maybe drink 1 time per week pending any extreme circumstances like a show or a visit from a friend.
4. Stay in with Audrey more. Spend more time with Lil A so she continues to love me.
5. Continue to show people that I care about them.
6. Work harder at my job.
7. Write a lot more, finish the book I should have finished in November.
What books did you love as a child?
Submitted by hearts.
I loved the Ramona Quimby books, I read them dozens of times. I also read the Babysitters Club Series, Sweet Valley Twins, Fear Street (Lol), Christopher Pike books, Anne of Green Gables, Little House on the Prairie, Nancy Drew mysteries...I read pretty much any series designed for elementary and junior high students.
In picture book days, I really liked Peter Rabbit books and Frog and Toad are friends. I think my family couldn't afford to buy us new books, so we were stuck with the classics.
I got those series books from the public library, which my mother took us to once or twice weekly. Go figure, now I'm a librarian.
Are you a re-gifter? Have you ever re-gifted?
Submitted by Sandals.
No, but thats because I've been fairly lucky with the gifts I've received. However, if I get a gift I don't like, I simply donate it to a thrift shop. I hope nobody has re-gifted anything I got them! I'd rather just have the present back for myself.
What song gives you the most holiday cheer?

Deck the Halls, the Mannheim Steamroller version. My family used to go on "light rides" every Christmas. We would pile into the car and drive through the rich neighborhoods to look at their insane decor. Most people hired companies to do amazing installations of lights and objects. Some people even rented stretch limos to drive through the neighborhoods. I don't know if this is a tradition elsewhere, but its a big deal in Omaha. We'd always play the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas album during the ride. Its a pleasant memory from my childhood.
